Chancellor’s Report on Philanthropy

Fall 2022

Dear ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ supporter,

As we begin the fall semester, I want to thank you for your continued support of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ through your generous contributions. Without you and your investment, many of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s key initiatives would not have been possible over the years.

On Aug. 4, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ named the Joseph E. Usibelli Engineering Learning and Innovation Building to honor and recognize the contributions of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus and philanthropist Joe Usibelli. Through Joe’s lifelong commitment to building a culture of giving, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has been able to present distinguished teaching, research and service awards to faculty members, fund student scholarships and construct modern facilities such as the Usibelli Building and the UA Museum of the North.

Your philanthropic efforts, like Joe’s, not only are essential to our success but also live on through the inspiring stories of students, faculty members and the people of Alaska. Your kindness has made us a better institution.
